Life without the "f"

Yesterday I attended a Home going service for a dear friend. It was an amazing service because it is not often that everything that is said about a person is true. This man really lived his life in service to other people. He was described as a giant educator, a giant church person, and a giant family man! He was the essence of what everyone said about him. It was so refreshing to attend a service so based on truth.

That is the way a life should be lived--our light should shine so brightly that no one will have to really think about what they will say if called upon to say a few words about us. It should all come easily.

I used to know someone who is living life without the "f." That life has become a big lie (or maybe it always was) because the person is not realizing that when you lose yourself, whatever you "think" you have gained is a joke based upon a lie.
